This is just a little haiku I wrote in just a couple of minutes at work. I missed seeing my wife this morning (I didn't want to wake her), but want her to know I love her. I know I feel more complete when she feels like we are unified or 'one' as a couple. And I pray she may have peace through Christ, which pretty much always helps us when we aren't feeling exactly unified. So I tried to wrap that into a haiku for her. It's been quite a while since I have written anything in this blog - my apologies. However, I was visiting a family in my church ('home teaching' for those who know what that is) a couple of months ago and their younger son mentioned writing poetry. I let him know I sometimes wrote poetry and he asked if I would write him a poem. I asked what he would like me to write a poem about and he quickly replied, "prayer." So, this is the poem I wrote for Cameron on prayer. I wanted it to be something that was simple enough to be a child's prayer, yet represent important elements of prayer within it.
